The Tonnara tuna, also known as bluefin tuna, is the most prized Callipo line. Now increasingly rare and delicious, it belongs to the Thunnus Thynnus species and lives in the Mediterranean Sea.
It is characterized by an intense pink flesh and a good consistency.
After being caught, it is processed fresh from the Maierato (VV) plant, where the entire processing cycle is carried out, from the selection of the pieces to cleaning, from steam cooking to packaging, in full respect of the ancient artisan tradition.
For the high quality that characterizes Tuna of Tonnara, it is recommended to taste it alone or with foods that do not cover its flavor.

Preserve it in a cool and dry place. After opening, it is recommended to keep it in the fridge covered with oil and consume it within 3 days.
