The Collection 242 is the first version of the new Roederer product marketed in all formats, the 241 in fact was still an experiment and was only sold in magnum format. A high-level champagne, which changes every year according to the peculiarities of the vintage; this edition contains 42% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Nero and 22% Pinot Meunier, refines on the lees for 4 years and is dosed at 8g / l. A broad, almost opulent nose with evolved and spicy notes precedes an astonishing sip in its finesse, supported by an acid and saline shoulder that makes the drink satisfying. Roederer doesn't miss a beat.
