Champagne Cristal 2014 Louis Roederer, a noble, lively wine, with undisputed elegance and an icon of luxury! Created from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes that age 6 years, it is a precious champagne that delights us with its extreme refinement, its lively bubbles and the sweetness of its aromas.


Cristal brut is the most loved AOC Champagne since the times of Tsar Alexander II, who asked Louis Roederer to elaborate the best Champagne for him, reserving the best cuveè every year. The name "Cristal", not surprisingly, derives from the material with which the special crystal bottle was created, to enhance its exclusivity, transparency and brilliance.

The grapes used to create this precious 2014 Cristal are 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from Verzenay, Verzy, Beaumont-sur-Vesle, Ay, Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant.

This vintage was splendid for the Cristal, fertile, rich and full of sunshine! A perfect balance between maturity and freshness.

The Cristal spends 6 years of maturation on the lees and, after dégorgement, rests in the cellar for another 8 months. The dosage is 7 g / l.

Cristal 2014 Louis Roederer has a bright golden color. The nose has an intense bouquet with aromas of candied citrus, toasted almonds and ripe fruit balanced by fresh and acidic contrasts. In the mouth it is fruity, with an elegant and perfectly integrated effervescence. A chalky freshness blends with ripe yellow fruits, typical hints of Cristal. Full-bodied and juicy with spicy notes thanks to the aging in oak barrels.
