Provenance: Masseria Sant’Andrea, Villa San Giovanni (Pescara) - Italy. Vinification: fermentation with the skins in submerged cap vats, long maceration at a temperature of 25 to 30 ° c. Integral extraction of the wine with soft presses. Grape variety: Montepulciano aged 55-60 years. Located on a very clayey south-facing soil from which grapes very rich in extracts and sugars are obtained, with selection of the bunches, so as to harvest 25/30 q per hectare. Alcohol content: 14.50% aging: in vats for 18 months, small new barrels for at least 24 months and in the bottle for at least 6 years. Organoleptic characteristics: intense, lively and deep ruby red color with hints of garnet nuances. Persistent, ample and complex aromas, which express notes of fruit, spices and flowers. On the palate it presents itself with a powerful and at the same time delicate, rich entrance, with a lasting sensation and intriguing originality. The aftertaste expresses olfactory harmonies on tones of jams. A wine of tasty complexity that invites a repeated tasting. Storage method: in the dark at a constant temperature around 15 ° c. How to serve: it is recommended to pour it into a decanter and let it rest until it gradually reaches a serving temperature of 17 ° / 20 ° c. It goes well with: its great softness and richness of tannins make it ideal for savory first courses also based on truffles and mushrooms, red meat, game, aged cheeses and cured meats
