Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG "Vino Sbagliato" 2017 75 cl Dirupi
The Sforzato di Valtellina 2017 DOCG from the Dirupi winery is a highly structured and elegant red wine, with a complex intense and widely persistent organoleptic content. To guarantee excellent quality and the best expression of the Valtellinese territory, the grapes used are 100% Nebbiolo (locally called Chiavennasca).
The Sforzato di Valtellina 2017 DOCG from the Dirupi winery comes from the use of 100% Chiavennasca grapes, to best express the entire Valtellinese territory.
The value of this high quality wine is conferred on it by the minute manual and careful processing of the vines. As typically happens in the area and given the complex constitution of the territory, the grapes are grown in terraces made up of dry stone walls, making the territory workable only by hand and without the aid of agricultural machines since, given the overall dimensions of these, they are incompatible with the small size of the cultivation areas.
Its blend makes it particularly tannic and very structured: from the use of red berries, its brilliant intense ruby red color stands out, accompanied by decisive, persistent and elegant aromas and aromas. On the palate it is soft, with aromas of red fruits, spices and with very accentuated tannins, ultimately giving it an excellent balance between its complex structure and its great freshness. The nose evolves with aromas of red berries in a delicate way and secondly has delicate balsamic and spicy notes.
To best highlight the particularities of this wine, we recommend pairing with red meats in all preparations, from roasts to boiled meats; game meat; strong seasoned and blue cheeses.
