Hurlo Rosso Veneto IGP 2012 75 cl Garbole
GarbolePersuasive, full-bodied, powerful, Hurlo di Garbole is the red wine symbol of the company produced with Corvina grapes and aged for 60 months in new oak barrels. The aromas are fruity of cherry, plum, sweet jam and almond with slight hints of vanilla, chocolate and coffee with a touch of fresh mint.
Garbole's Hurlo represents the highest expression of the Garbole philosophy.
A majestic red wine, unique of its kind for its organoleptic characteristics, it is considered one of the most interesting Venetian and Italian red wines in the Italian wine scene, receiving recognition as the best red wine in Italy in 2019.
On the hills of the municipality of Tregnago, in the province of Verona, the Corvina grape, queen of the Valpolicella grapes, and 4 other native Veronese grapes are grown, which together give rise to a rich, full-bodied, concentrated and sweet wine.
The Hurlo is produced, in a limited edition, only in the most suitable years. Each single bottle is numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The entirely manual harvest carried out from mid-September lasts for about 35 - 40 days and is carried out several times according to the degree of ripeness of the grapes and with the maximum selection of the best bunches. The grapes are put to rest, in small boxes of about 4 - 5 kg each, and placed in the loft, where they will remain for a period of about 120 - 130 days of drying.
Aged in new oak barrels for at least 60 months, the Hurlo di Garbole has an intense ruby red color, impenetrable with hints of plum, cherry, black cherry jam and almond, all well blended with a pleasant balsamic vein and a note of fresh mint , which with hints of vanilla, coffee and chocolate, licorice give the wine olfactory complexity.
Full-bodied wine, powerful, enveloping, soft, and savory with a great taste-olfactory persistence, characterized by a good degree of acidity that gives it the right degree of freshness.
