The Rosso di Montalcino "Sogni e Follia" by Podere le Ripi is a small Brunello, just think that the aging in cask lasts for three years instead of the classic 18 months reserved for this type of wine. It is produced from Sangiovese grapes, coming from the youngest vineyards and cultivated following the principles of biodynamic agriculture. The prolonged aging in wood enriches the bouquet with toasted scents, cocoa and spices, and gives greater structure to the wine. On the palate it is warm and enveloping, with a dense tannin that gives it great evolutionary potential.
