Like all Antinori wines, the Brunello di Montalcino “Pian delle Vigne” also reaches very high quality levels, an austere and powerful wine, with a long aging in large barrels in full respect of tradition. In a substantially perfect year like 2016, the results are exceptional; a wide and articulated bouquet, dominated by aromas of cherry and raspberry with spicy, tobacco and coffee scents. On the palate a good freshness and a silky tannin give a satisfying and persistent sip.
