Merlot Riserva Siebeneich 2018 75 cl Terlano
TerlanoMerlot Siebeneich, from the Terlan winery, a unique red wine of its kind, full-bodied, intense and of incredible finesse, releases notes of ripe fruit, mint, eucalyptus and hints of black pepper, with a perfectly balanced tannic structure and a persistent finish.
Siebeneich is a Merlot Riserva di Terlano, a full-bodied and extraordinarily fine red wine. Its grapes grow near Monte Zoccolo facing south, on quartz porphyry slopes of volcanic origin with clayey and sandy soil; these particular conditions in which the vines grow are characteristics that make the wines of the Terlano winery unmistakable.
This Merlot reserve, after a manual harvest and the careful selection of the grapes, is left to ferment in stainless steel tanks, then follows the malolactic fermentation before moving on to a refinement of 12 months, which is spent in part in barriques and part in wooden barrels.
Arriving at its bottling, the Siebeneich has a beautiful sparkling ruby red color. Its scent is characterized by fruity notes of dried plum and cranberry to which aromas of mint, eucalyptus and black pepper are mixed.
On the palate it reveals itself in all its structure, it is mature, complex and perfectly developed, with a persistent aftertaste.
