Impostino is the most representative wine of Tenuta L’Impostino, produced with 80% Sangiovese combined with Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Vinified in concrete tanks, it ages for 18 months in large oak barrels. On the nose, in addition to the typical aromas of red fruit, a mentholated and balsamic note emerges that makes the bouquet large and complex, warm in the mouth, the softness is balanced by a dense tannin and a vibrant freshness, with a long savory and aromatic finish.
