Spinning Beauty is a Sagrantino di Montefalco made by one of the best Italian producers of this variety. It ages in barrique for 8 years before being bottled and left to rest in glass for another 8 months. Only 900 bottles are produced. It is a wine with a strong personality, with intense aromas of licorice and coffee, followed by notes of red fruit in alcohol; on the palate it is powerful and robust, with aggressive tannins but balanced by a good softness. It requires an important combination, based on red meats and game.
