Cabernet Sauvignon "Lafoa" 2018 75 cl Colterenzio
ColterenzioCabernet Sauvignon Lafoa is a real jewel among the great wines of South Tyrol.
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 430 m a.s.l. with excellent sun exposure and sandy and gravelly soils of morainic origin.
The fermentation on the skins lasts 10 days and the subsequent maceration, 10-14 days. The young wine is then moved to new and used oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation and aging for 18 months follow. The wine undergoes careful filtration before bottling.
Colterenzio's wisdom in processing and refinement has made it possible to obtain a wonderful, almost purplish red wine, intense, structured and rich. A bouquet that reveals notes of black currant, bitter chocolate, marzipan and vanilla. In the mouth you can still feel the full tannins and extraordinary persistence.
Cabernet Sauvignon Lafoa Colterenzio has a great aging potential: 10-15 years. It perfectly accompanies important dishes based on red meat, grilled or roasted, game and spicy cheese.
