Ermitage Rouge Le Pavillon 2011 75 cl M. Chapoutier
ChapoutierErmitage Rouge "Le Pavillon" Chapoutier is an icon of the Hermitage hill, in the Rhône.
The Syrah vineyards that give life to this wine have an average age of 65 years and rest on granite soils, which sublimate the characteristics of the grape.
Le Pavillon is vinified in concrete and aged in oak barrels for the 30% of first passage for about 2 years.
A deep red wine with violet reflections, the nose is rich in nuances, a fruity part dominates the bouquet, followed by balsamic and ferrous notes. On the palate it is majestic and exuberant but maintains a splendid drink, thanks to a savory and fresh boost that makes it truly irresistible.
Le Pavillon Chapoutier is a wine with incredible evolutionary potential, which can be stored for decades and is one of the best expressions of Syrah you can drink.
