Castel Grumello, owned by the De Piro family in the fourteenth century, is a twin fortress, consisting of two separate structures, once joined by a wall that overlooks the hill cultivated with Nebbiolo delle Alpi; hence the name of this wine.
Grumello Rocca De Piro Riserva ArPePe is the result of the assembly of grapes from the two owned vineyards located in the Grumello area.
In years in which the slightly accentuated tannins suggest a short refinement in large barrels, the Valtellina Superiore Grumello Rocca De Piro DOCG ArPePe surprises for the speed with which it acquires drinkability. And at the moment of its debut on the tables, it is always on time: ready to drink, but also excellent to keep in the cellar among the reserves.
