The Grumello Buon Consiglio Riserva ArPePe red wine is produced from the "Buon Consiglio" vineyard located in the Grumello area, at about 370 meters above sea level.
The Nebbiolo grapes reach perfect ripeness and the large temperature variations contribute to giving finesse and elegance to the aromatic part.
Starting from an exceptional raw material to make a great wine is not enough, great attention is also needed in the cellar, and for this wine a very long maceration is essential to extract all the components from the grape skins; it even reaches 100 days. Then follows a very long refinement, where the wine stays partly in oak barrels and partly in the bottle for about 6 years.
Grumello Buon Consiglio Riserva ArPePe is a sincere mountain wine which, thanks to traditional processing, concentrates in the glass the most typical traits of the impervious but generous Valtellina area.
The velvety flavor and intense aromas, with floral notes, go well with regional cuisine. Serve it at 15°C in balloons.
