The Chianti Classico of Castello dei Rampolla is a Chianti emblem of the Tuscan tradition, a point of reference for the denomination.

A small balance of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon is added to the Sangiovese, which complete it beautifully. It is vinified in concrete tanks and then aged for a few months in oak barrels.

The Chianti Classico Castello dei Rampolla red wine opens on the nose with notes of cherry and blackberries, with a balsamic and mentholated finish given by the Cabernet; the sip is pleasant, with sweet and silky tannins and a nice savory finish.
