The historic Oddero winery recently bought a small part of the wonderful Monvigliero vineyard, in the municipality of Verduno, and 2020 is the first vintage produced.

Oddero's Barolo Monvigliero is a splendid wine, the vinification is not very invasive, with a shorter than usual aging in wood to leave maximum expressiveness to the fruit and the terroir, without covering too much with spicy and toasted hints.

The nose is a real perfume, with notes of small red fruits and white pepper; the sip is juicy, delicate, of enormous pleasantness.
