Rum dedicated to the tattoo artist and rum lover Sailor Jerry Collins, born Norman Keith Collins in 1911 was the most famous tattoo artist of all time who traveled by tattooing sailors with his unique designs. Looking in his personal notes and in his vast collection of tattoos the original recipe of his personal rum was found, prepared with aged Caribbean rum and with the addition of five spices that include ginger, cinnamon, clove, vanilla and an infusion of lime. In 2007 William Grant & Sons bought the formula from Sailor Jerry's heirs to recreate this unique spiced rum which is a cult among surfers all over the world.

At the sight it appears of an intense amber color, on the nose aromas of vanilla and oak, with hints of cloves, caramel and cinnamon. The taste is warm and soft, with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla, and a pleasantly spicy and persistent aftertaste. Perfect to be enjoyed in moments of meditation.
