Champagne Cristal 2009 1,5 lt astucciato Louis Roederer
Champagne Cristal 2009 Louis Roederer, born from a climatically superb vintage! Symbol of elegance and full expression of the territory. After a short passage in wood, it ages for 6 years on the lees. A golden champagne that smells of candied fruit and reveals its characteristic chalky vein. The taste is rich, lively, minty and velvety, which will be remembered forever!
Cristal brut Millesimè is the most loved AOC Champagne since the time of Tsar Alexander II, who asked Louis Roederer to create the best Champagne for him, reserving him the best cuvees every year. The name "Cristal", not surprisingly, derives from the material with which the special crystal bottle was created, to enhance its exclusivity, transparency and brilliance.
Considered one of the best vintages, 2009 was characterized by a dry and harsh winter, followed by an ideal summer, sunny and with little rainfall in August and September.
The grapes used to create this Cuvée Cristal 2008 are 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, coming from the Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs.
After a partial vinification in wood, the Cristal 2009 spends 6 years of maturation on the lees and, after disgorgement, rests in the cellar for another 8 months. The dosage is 8 g / l.
A 2009 Cristal Champagne with a golden color with opaque and amber reflections. The aromas are intriguing and intense with sweet hints of citrus, candied apricot, licorice and toasted hazelnut. The taste is structured, lively and characterized by a velvety slightly mentholated freshness. A wine with a great personality, with energetic chalky notes.
A Cristal champagne that has achieved a superb perfect balance! Harmonious and refined, with an ethereal delicacy that caresses the senses. 2009 was certainly one of the best vintages in Champagne; and this Cristal is certainly an excellent symbol!
