Cerretalto is the highest expression of Casanova di Neri's Brunello di Montalcino. Produced only in the best years, the Sangiovese grapes are selected manually to be then vinified, followed by 36 months of aging in large barrels and 24 months in the bottle. The nose has typical hints of red fruit followed by mineral notes on a background of chocolate and licorice. On the palate it is majestic, with a savory and velvety sip of great intensity. A memorable wine, with an evolutionary potential of tens of years.
