Champagne Cristal 2008 75 cl Louis Roederer with casketLouis Roederer
Champagne Cristal 2008 Louis Roederer, a noble, fresh wine, with undisputed elegance and an icon of luxury! Created from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes which after 8 years on the lees reveals itself in all its preciousness and delights us with its extreme refinement, lively bubbles and the sweetness of its aromas.
Cristal brut Millesimè is the most loved AOC Champagne since the time of Tsar Alexander II, who asked Louis Roederer to create the best Champagne for him, reserving the best cuveè every year. The name "Cristal", not surprisingly, derives from the material with which the special crystal bottle was created, to enhance its exclusivity, transparency and brilliance.
Marked by a particularly dry but cool summer period, the 2008 vintage matured grapes with great concentration, also characterized by an incredibly cool summer that gave it intensity and salinity.
The grapes used to create this Cuvée Cristal 2008 are 60% Pinot Nero and 40% Chardonnay.
The Cristal 2008 spends 8 years of maturation on the lees and, after disgorgement, rests in the cellar for another 8 months. The dosage is 8 g / l.
A beautiful Champagne with an amber color with green and orange reflections. A fine and regular effervescence that expresses a complex and intense bouquet of candied citrus fruits, yellow fruits, pear, pollen and toasted almonds. In the mouth it presents this tactile sensation, almost liqueur that rolls in the mouth, powerful and sweet at the same time, which continues with an incredible finish placed on the freshness and this impression of absolute purity, taut and ultra saline.
Cristal is a Champagne of extreme elegance and refinement. This 2008 is profound, intense and masterful. True quintessence of chalky soils that give this champagne a delicate tension. Its power, combined with finesse, allows you to combine it wonderfully with the most delicate and refined dishes.
