Rosso "Rujno" 2005 75 cl Gravner
GravnerRujno Gravner is a red wine made from Merlot grapes that is produced only in deserving vintages, a true oenological pearl now almost impossible to find. Vinified in a totally natural way, it ferments in open oak vats and ages 16 years in cask and bottle. Rujno Gravner expresses itself with intense and evolved aromas, with notes of fruit in alcohol, undergrowth and spices. The taste reveals complexity, great flavor and elegant freshness, and a unique aromatic persistence.
Rujno Gravner 2005 is one of the large Gravner reserves.
A red wine produced with 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
After a careful harvest, fermentation takes place with the marc in open oak vats for 5 weeks, with indigenous yeasts, without any temperature control. Rosso Rujno refines in large barrels for 4 years and in bottle for another 12. The passage from barrel to bottle takes place in the period of waning moon, without clarification or filtration.
Aromas of earth and red fruit and spices emerge fresh and intense despite the long aging, this freshness is also found on the palate, with a silky and elegant tannin.
Tasting Gravner's Rujno is a true sensory experience; a wine that deserves to be tasted alone, in meditation, or paired with aged cheeses and meat-based dishes.
