Cepparello 2018 75 cl Isole e Olena
Isole e OlenaThe Sangiovese Cepparello of the Isole e Olena company is a prestigious red wine of the highest quality, born from ancient grapes and aged for 18 months in battique. It reveals its profound expression of the Tuscan territory. With an intense and round taste, with aromas of violets, berries and coffee, perfect to drink alongside savory meat dishes.
The Cepparello Toscana IGT of the Isole e Olena company is a great elegant and structured red wine, produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes.
The vines of this Cepparello are located in Tuscany, in the Florence area, more precisely in the locality of Balberino Val d'Elsa, on hills ranging from 400 to 450 meters above the sea level.
Isole e Olena is a family-run company that cultivates the grapes that make up its wines with passion and attention to ensure the high quality of its products and the deep-rooted expression of the Tuscan territory.
Cepparello is produced with the best grapes from old vines that produce few bunches but of the highest level. After the harvest, the grapes are pressed and undergo an alcoholic fermentation process with maceration on the skins for almost a month, and then spend 18 months of aging in barrique.
Isole e Olena thus creates Sangiovese Cepparello Toscana IGT, which is presented in the glass with its ruby red, with intense aromas of undergrowth, cherry, black cherry, delicate floral notes of violet, woody and spicy notes of cardamom, coffee and tobacco.
In the mouth it is compact, soft, enveloping and structured, with delicate tannins, with a taste that reconfirms its intense aromas. Excellent to combine with a dish of game, aged cheeses or savory meat-based main courses.
