"Ipsus" is the only wine produced on the Il Caggio estate, acquired by Mazzei in 2006 and located in Castellina in Chianti.

Ipsus Mazzei is a pure Sangiovese that grows on very suitable soils, with a perfect mix of marl, alberese and galestro and is produced in a few thousand bottles.

The bouquet is complex and focuses on notes of morello cherry and cherry, with a balsamic and mineral nuance; on the palate it is ample, of great structure but with a silky and enveloping tannin.
