AD 02.22 Cask Strength Ardnamurchan is a single malt produced in the north of Scotland, and is a blend of 84% peaty whiskey and non-peaty whiskey for the remainder.

It refines 90% in ex sherry barrels while a small fraction remains in ex bourbon barrels. This Ardnamurchan single malt scotch whiskey was aged in 45 ex-bourbon barrels (2015 distillation) and 5 ex-sherry hoghshead (2014 distillation).

Fully bottled, it is not filtered; in this way every enthusiast can enjoy a whiskey in its full complexity.

Ardnamurchan AD 02.22 Cask Strength is an aggressive and intense whiskey, certainly not for everyone; the peaty is felt but is not too invasive thanks to the long aging while the sip is deep and complex, with an incredible persistence.
