Glenfiddich is one of the most important Scottish distilleries in the world and this Project XX is the latest in a long series of successes;

To produce the Glenfiddich "Project XX" Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, 20 whiskey experts from all over the world were invited to the distillery headquarters to each choose a single malt.

The 20 selected were then placed in the hands of master distiller Brian Kinsan who blended and bottled them.

The "Sole" is an Italian Malt Whiskey produced by the South Tyrolean distillery Puni, aged for 4 years, two of them in ex Bourbon barrels and two in ex Sherry Pedro Ximenez barrels which give it a sweet and soft flavor. The scents evolve from notes of exotic fruit and honey to more complex and toasted hints of nutmeg and spiced oak.
