Chateau de Beaucastel's Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a white wine with enormous potential, a pearl that every lover of Rhone Valley wines should try. It is a blend of Roussanne, for 80%, with Grenache Blanc and other local white grape varieties. It ferments and ages for 8 months partly in steel and partly in wooden barrels. A beautiful nose, with citrus and vegetable notes that alternate with hints of cinnamon and white pepper, precedes a large and round sip, of great structure. Take two bottles, drink one now and forget it in the cellar, in a few years you will be amazed!
It is recommended to open it an hour before drinking it to fully develop.
