The story of Poggio al Tesoro began in 2001 when Marilisa and Walter Allegrini, driven by a desire to explore new horizons, arrived in Bolgheri following an extensive search across Tuscany. It was love at first sight, a meeting between the vision of a family deeply rooted in wine culture and a territory of extraordinary beauty and viticultural potential.
The project was crafted with meticulous care and expertise, drawing on an understanding of diverse soil types, the selection of the most suitable grape varieties, and a viticultural approach that respects natural balance. From great Bolgheri reds to Vermentino, every wine is created with the ambition of expressing the identity of this place through character, elegance, and authenticity.
Today, Marilisa Allegrini and her daughters, Caterina and Carlotta, carry on that vision, combining experience, innovation, and a profound respect for the land.
During this tasting dinner, we invite you to discover the story of Poggio al Tesoro through their exquisite wines, the insights shared by oenologist Christian Coco, and the culinary pairings created by our chef, Stefano.
