Chartreuse Vert is a timeless myth, one of the most famous liqueurs in the world; it was born in France and was originally produced by the monks of the Certosa di Voiron following a (still) very secret recipe.

It is obtained from the infusion in alcohol, and subsequent distillation, of many herbs and roots; subsequently the liqueur ages in oak barrels for a few months before being put on the market.

Chartreuse is a unique distillate, with an astonishing aromatic complexity both on the nose and on the palate.

It was born as a digestive, it can be drunk chilled or at room temperature, but it is in mixing that it can give even more extraordinary results; there is a white negroni, why not try a green negroni? Our advice is to use Chartreuse instead of bitter.
