Vignarionda is Oddero's most important Barolo, produced with grapes from the vineyard of the same name and with the traditional style that involves long maceration and aging in large oak barrels for almost 4 years. 2009 was a hot vintage that allowed for optimal ripening of the grapes, for a wine that is now in its moment of maximum splendor. Notes of orange and ripe red fruit inebriate the nose while on the palate it is fresh and savory, with a silky tannin that gives an enveloping and persistent sip.
