The Japanese Nikka distillery created a limited edition of some single malts bottled in 2018, extending their aging in ex-bourbon barrels. The Yoichi single malt whiskey has spicy and almost smoky notes on the nose, with sweet hints as a background only. On the palate the peaty and marine aromas are found which are balanced by sweet notes of exotic fruit and candied fruit, thus giving life to a harmonious and persistent sip.
