Champagne Extra Brut Cuvee 746 75 cl Jacquesson
JacquessonJacquesson is one of the great names of Champagne and his wines are always confirmed at very high quality levels.
The cuvee 746 is the result of the assembly of the 2018 vintage and a small part of reserve wines. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes are harvested in Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers (68%), Avize and Oiry (32%).
The harvest begins on August 30th and ends on September 11th with perfect ripeness and moderate acidity. A rigorous selection of the grapes generates a low yield but allows to obtain ripe and healthy bunches. The wines prove to be rich and dense and the Cuvée is completed with some "vins de réserve". Jacquesson 746 rests on the lees for 3 years and is dosed at 2g/l.
The champagne obtained presents itself to the nose with mineral and iodine notes which form the background for very elegant citrus and floral scents. On the palate it is irresistible in its freshness and creaminess, with a fine and persistent bubble that makes the sip extremely pleasant.
