The "Apertura" red wine of the Colombo company is a pure Pinot Nero produced in the Alta Langa area, a persuasive and highly elegant wine. Refines 18 months in oak barrels and a further six months in bottle. The nose shows clear and intense aromas of currant and raspberry and sweet spices, vanilla and licorice. On the palate it is warm and harmonious, with a silky tannin and a pleasant freshness that makes the sip satisfying. It is a perfect wine for a romantic dinner.
