Amarone Campo dei Gigli 2017 75 cl Tenuta Sant'Antonio
Tenuta S. AntonioCampo dei Gigli is the symbolic wine of Tenuta Sant'Antonio, an Amarone produced from a single vineyard, the oldest owned by the company.
The grapes are the classic Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella with a small addition of Oseleta and Croatina; the withering lasts 3 months and the vinification takes place in steel tanks, from here the wine is transferred to 500-litre tonneaux, where it ages for about 3 years.
Campo dei Gigli Tenuta Sant'Antonio is a full-bodied wine, the typical notes of fruit in alcohol and sweet spices emerge on the nose and on the palate, despite a high alcohol content and an important structure, it maintains a good drinkability thanks to a savory vein which is perceived on the finish and leaves the mouth pleasantly clean.
To drink with fat and succulent dishes, mainly based on red meat.
