From the Nebbiolo youngest vines, up to 15 years of age, we get "Il Favot", the business card of the Aldo Conterno company.

The Nebbiolo grapes used for Favot are Michet and Lampia varieties, from vineyards located in Bussia, in Monforte d'Alba.

The manual harvest allows a selection of the bunches already from the vineyard. The harvest begins in mid-October. Maceration in stainless steel is short to extract less tannins and have a more immediate wine, the aging takes place in oak barrels for a few months.

Favot Aldo Conterno presents all the aromatic complexities of Nebbiolo combined with a pleasant, tasty and soft drink, with elegant tannins and a delicate freshness. An excellent, classy Nebbiolo.
