The San Giuseppe vineyard is a small plot within one of the grand crus of Barolo, Bricco Boschis; exclusive property of Cavallotto who has been producing an exciting Barolo from it for years.
The Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe di Cavallotto is produced with a traditional style, indigenous yeasts and long submerged cap maceration followed by approximately 4 years of aging in large barrels and 1 in the bottle.
The nose is broad and complex, floral notes and small red fruits can be recognized as well as hints of toasting and sweet spices; the sip is majestic, with an intense tannic texture and incredible freshness; a great Barolo.
