Negroamaro Salento "F" 2021 75 cl Cantine San Marzano
Cantine San MarzanoFeudi San Marzano's Negroamaro "F" is a great Apulian classic.
The Negroamaro vines are grown in the Monte La Conca district, between the municipalities of San Marzano and Francavilla Fontana.
The soils are made up of residual red earth, with a fine texture, with a calcareous substrate and sparse rocky outcrops. The famous red hue of these soils derives from an intense presence of iron oxides.
Negroamaro F San Marzano ages 12 months in French oak barriques. This wine has a great aging capacity, managing to keep its organoleptic characteristics intact for many years.
A full-bodied, rich and complex red wine, very fruity and with a very light residual sugar which gives softness and weakens the tannic sensation. The refinement in barrique contributes to making it drinkable and pleasant for a wine that can represent an excellent alternative to the better-known Primitivo.
To pair with robust first courses: red meats, game, mature pecorino cheeses.
