The 24k is not just a wine but a real collector's item, a bottle produced in a limited edition, only in magnum format and with a label made of 24-karat gold (999 gold) and applied by hand to each bottle. Obviously it is not only the packaging that is exceptional but also the wine itself; it is a blend of Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon obtained by drying the grapes before vinification, in order to concentrate the aromas and flavors and give the wine an incredible harmony and complexity.

 

The must is transferred to special barriques made with four different types of wood, within which it remains from 24 to 30 months for alcoholic fermentation and reduction of acidity. It is then poured into small chestnut barrels to complete the maturation and be transferred to the bottle. This is the origin of this great wine, Terrazze Retiche di Sondrio 24K Plozza.
