Igé is a small village in the heart of Maconnais, an area very suitable for Chardonnay; here Domaine Leflaive produces an exceptional wine.

Macon Igé is vinified and aged in small oak barrels for about 1 year.

The aromatic profile is rich and complex, with notes ranging from fresh fruit to oriental spices, including incense and white pepper. The sip is delightful and structured, it initially widens and then relaxes into a long savory, almost brackish finish.

A great Burgundy hard to find at this price!
