Augustin's CCXIV Air champagne is a great still wine, which has the peculiarity of being also a sparkling wine.
So how is it produced? Both the pinot noir and the chardonnay, which compose it in equal measure, come from old vines and are vinified and aged in terracotta amphorae, which is very unusual in champagne, and they are two wines that could already be bottled like this. However Augustin assembles them and starts them off for a long refermentation in the bottle, lasting 56 months, to thus obtain a champagne of the highest level.
The Champagne Cuvée CCXIV Air Domaine Augustin is a light, fine, agile and caressing wine. A perfect champagne to drink paired with fish, a touch of style to bring to a joyful lunch with friends.
