Matteo Correggia's Roero is a pure Nebbiolo, a faithful expression of the terroir of origin. Vinified with a short maceration in steel and aged in wooden barrels for only 6 months. The aromas are intense and simple, ranging from notes of red fruits to hints of licorice and cocoa; on the palate it is characterized by a great drinkability, with a silky tannin and a pleasant freshness that make it perfect in combination with a platter of cheeses and cured meats, strictly Piedmontese.
