Barolo Bussia "Romirasco" 2017 75 cl Aldo Conterno
Conterno Aldo"Romirasco" is one of the crus of Aldo Conterno and is located on the Bussia hill, in Monforte d’Alba.
The Romirasco vineyard is about 50-55 years old and the Nebbiolo vines are replanted from time to time.
The manual harvest begins in mid-October, in full ripeness, and the selection of the bunches begins immediately, in the vineyard.
The vinification begins with a maceration of the skins in stainless steel tanks. The must remains in contact with the skins for 30 days, during which the alcoholic fermentation takes place completely. The wine is finally put to rest in oak barrels to complete its maturation.
Barolo Romirasco Aldo Conterno is a perfect expression of the terroir of this municipality, a Barolo to be savored already in the early years but which still maintains great evolutionary potential.
The taste is delicate, with silky tannins and a strong acidity, which gives tension and verticality; a delicious wine, even more so if drunk with a plate of polenta and bruscitt!
