The Etna Rosso San Lorenzo Tenuta delle Terre Nere wine is one of the Grand Cru of Etna, a purebred wine.

San Lorenzo is one of those vineyards where Nerello expresses itself to its full potential. The vines over 70 years old are cultivated as sapling on pure volcanic soils of the Elliptic (about between 60,000 and 15,000 years ago), not contaminated by alluvial soils or sediments, as some of the other districts are. This Terroir of the Elliptic, although not so old, is the oldest soil on which to grow.

The wine ferments and ages 16 months in barriques and large barrels.

San Lorenzo Tenuta delle Terre Nere releases notes of ripe fruit and spices, with balsamic and toasted hints; rich on the palate, with a dense tannic texture and well integrated with the acid and savory vein, for a juicy sip with an infinite persistence.
