Pargolo is the only Chianti Classico produced by Podere La Villa, a small company in San Casciano in Val di Pesa run by the Tachis family.

The single vineyard from which this wine is made is about one hectare large. A small part of Merlot (20%) is added to the Sangiovese grapes (80%) in order to round off the angularities of the first grape and give a softer and more enveloping wine, able to delight your palates right away.

Pargolo Podere la Villa, despite being based on drinkability and pleasantness, is able to improve a lot over the years.
