In the Karst, Merlot is one of the most cultivated vines and producers such as Cotar give it an exceptional interpretation.

The vinification takes place in open vats, with a long maceration and the refinement involves 7 years in oak barrels and another 3 in the bottle.

Merlot Cotar is a wine to try at least once in a lifetime: after 10 years it still has an enviable freshness, the nose is an explosion of red fruit and spices, with balsamic and mentholated notes that invite you to sip. On the palate it is warm and persuasive, with dense tannins and an incredible vein of acidity, considering the age of the wine. Masterpiece!
