Perilla Venica is a great Merlot produced in the Friulian Collio; it is a powerful and structured wine, with great evolutionary potential.

It is vinified with a long maceration of 20 days and a passage in barriques for about 2 years, partly new wood and partly old wood, it is finally bottled without filtration.

Merlot Perilla Venica is a soft and intense wine that is balsamic to the nose, with mentholated notes that refresh the bouquet; the sip is an explosion of taste, the fruity part is found which also emerges on the nose followed by a finish of licorice and coffee.
