Idda is the new project by Gaja, in collaboration with Graci, on the south west side of the Etna, the lesser known side of the volcano. The wines produced are only two, one white and one red and the intent is to enhance with a single bottle all the potential of the Etna terroir.

The red is obtained with Nerello hood and Nerello Mascalese, grown in Biancavilla, about 800 meters above sea level; It is a mountain red, fresh and elegant. Vinification takes place in concrete and part in oak and in the same containers the wine refines for 24 months.

The Etna Rosso Idda is a deep and elegance Nerello, with a silky and enveloping tannin and a really irresistible fresh and sapid verve.
