Solaia 2018 75 cl Antinori

Solaia is one of the most famous wines in the world, a flagship product of the Antinori family.

Born in the heart of the Chianti Classico, from the vineyard of the same name located on the best hill of Tenuta Tignanello and made up of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc. The refinement in new French oak barrels lasted 18 months, first each variety separated and subsequently assembled.

Solaia 2018 is the result of a regular and very good vintage, which gave rise to a wine that can already give great satisfaction if drunk today, of great power and elegance, but with a great evolutionary potential.

Solaia Antinori 2018 has an intense ruby ​​red color. On the nose the intense notes of ripe dark fruit, in particular blueberry and black currant, combine with pleasant hints of dried flowers and lavender, combined with white pepper and balsamic aromas. The final bouquet is endowed with sweet and well integrated notes. On the palate it is enveloping and creamy: the tannins, soft and silky, give a long, persistent and very elegant finish.
