Franchetti is one of the first companies to believe in zoning on Etna and vinifies all its vineyards individually, in the wake of what happens in Burgundy with the different Crus.

Terre Siciliane Contrada C Franchetti is a red wine produced with grapes of Nerello Mascalese coming from the Chiappemacine district, the lowest at altitude, located at 550 meters.

The resulting wine is the warmest and most mature, ready immediately thanks to an enveloping and delicate tannic texture and a vein of freshness that balances well the great maturity of the fruit that is perceived on the nose and gives almost jam-like notes.
