Sammarco is perhaps the most identifying wine of Castello dei Rampolla, produced for many years now; it is a Cabernet Sauvignon to which a part of Sangiovese and Merlot is added.

The vinification takes place in concrete tanks and the refinement continues first in oak barrels and then in the bottle.

Castello dei Rampolla Rosso Toscana Sammarco is a wine that offers hints of red fruit and spices on the nose, with mentholated notes that bring freshness; the sip is rich and juicy, with firm but well integrated tannins and a savory finish that gives length and persistence.
